Villa Alma

While in the beautiful town of Komiza, we stayed in a small villa that we found through AirBnB, called Villa Alma. The location of the place was ideal, only a short walk to the beach (essential for me), and a short walk to the heart of the town. On top of that, the owners were extremely helpful when it came to navigating the island and were eager to answer any questions that we had about the town.

But, the best part about this place was the place itself. It was absolutely beautiful, from the second story balcony to the backyard, which had a stone stove for cooking and a long table where we played Head’s Up while sipping cocktails at night. The inside of the villa was equally as great, with visible stone walls and rustic decorations throughout.

This shoot is probably my favorite one to date. The afternoon that these pictures were taken was the last day we spent at Villa Alma, and the town of Komiza. Since I was feeling bittersweet about our departure, and I wanted to keep the island vibes going, I decided to wear my favorite breezy white dress with the most comfortable brown sandals – because nothing says beach life like a white dress, right?

If you ever find yourself in Komiza (which you should!), I highly recommend that you stay at Villa Alma. I know that I will be returning very soon.
