On our first full day in Komiza, we decided to venture out to one of our must-see spots, Stiniva Beach. If you’re ever in Vis I highly recommend you take a trip here, but make sure that you go by boat. The only other way to get there is to take a cab tot he top of the hill and then hike (aka slide/fall) down a very steep hill. All in all this took us around 20 – 30 minutes to tackle, but definitely felt like a lot longer due to the stress.
Although this was a rough trip down to say the least, it ended up being well worth it. The beautiful cave-like rock structure surrounded a small pebbly beach and the crystal clear water was a beautiful mix of blue and teal. Despite the fact that it was a cloudy day, and the water was a bit chilly, I knew I had to go in.
Despite the overcast weather, we took a few hours to relax and enjoy the view on our practically private beach.
It was such an amazing experience to take in all of the natural beauty of this place, and It was then and there that I knew I had fallen in love with Croatia.

beautiful beach to visit
