When packing for Croatia, it was obviously essential to try pack every dress that I own, which may have been the reason why my bag was so overweight, oops! Good thing I brought a big carry-on. But, of all the dresses that I packed, I was most excited to wear this one.
This is one of those pieces that you try on for the first time, and everything just works. I love the fact that it can be dressed up or down with just a few accessories, and the back of the dress creates a statement on its own. It’s such an effortless piece, that I knew Croatia would be the best place to wear it.
Since the small town of Komiza had a very casual vibe, I decided to dress this down as much as possible by pairing it with these comfy sandals, and my black cross body bag. Truth be told, I wasn’t able to fit the shoes that I wanted to wear with this dress in my suitcase, but I found that these actually ended up creating the best look for this small beach town.
On this particular night we took the long route to dinner, stopping on the beach to enjoy the beautiful sunset on the horizon. I can’t tell you how many times I stopped and made an effort to really take everything in on this trip. Every day was so picture perfect that it almost didn’t seem real.
It’s safe to say that this was the best backdrop for this Sandro Paris dress. The blue and yellow sunset somehow helped to perfectly bring out the red and navy pattern.
