Guys, this bikini is major and the best part is I designed it especially for me! Being a huge bikini buff, I cannot think of anything more fun to create for the summer months ahead.

If you’ve had trouble finding suits that fit your body, or just want to bring out your inner fashion designer, I highly recommend checking out Surania to create your own suit. From the cut of the suit to the colors of the straps themselves, you have the ability to make it all your own. I mean, how cool is that? Also, the process is super simple!

First off, you choose the style of swimsuit that you want to create (full bikini, tankini, or just a top or bottom). Then you get to choose the type of top you want – bandeau, underwire, triangle halter. I went with a classic triangle top because that tends to fit my body the best and since I tend to be active at the beach, I usually like to have a more sportier cut. I recommend this cut for anyone with a smaller chest and would go for more of a halter top for someone with a larger chest, as it will provide more support.

After that you get down to the nitty gritty; you get to choose any add-ons to the triangle top (or whichever style you choose), meaning flounces, adjustable, basic, fringes, detailed outlines, etc. – I personally went for the basic top, but if you have a smaller chest that you want to play up, you can opt to add a few embellishments, as this can create the illusion of a larger chest.

Then you move onto the same process for the bottoms, which was super fun because you get to choose the style, cut and height of the bottom which can make all the difference in the fit. If you have a smaller bum that you want to play up, I’d opt for a smaller brazilian cut, while if you have more booty you can go for a bottom with more coverage.

Once all of those details are chosen, you move onto the fun part – choosing the colors! I can’t even begin to tell you how long this took me, which is very concerning because who knows how long it will take me to make any other big decision in life (like a wedding dress) – disaster! But, I eventually landed on this fun purple print. I knew the color would complement my skin tone and the small print keeps things simple and understated.

The final step is inputting your measurements . Rather than picking from preset size options, you actually need to measure yourself and send them. This is AMAZING because I can’t even count how many times I’ve received a suit and had to send it back because the sizing was wrong. This ensures that the suit will fit your body like a glove, and who wouldn’t what that?

Now, head over to Surania to create your own suit so that you can strut that bikini bod at the beach/pool this summer!
