Statement Coat

I can’t tell you how long I was searching for the perfect statement coat when I stumbled upon this one while shopping in my hometown over Christmas. I have one coat that keeps me warm, but wanted one that really stood out in the crowd. I love the dark red/orange/brown color of the coat, and especially love the removable fur lining all around.

Since it makes such a statement on its own, I decided to pair it with neutral pieces, but don’t hesitate to pair a statement coat with other colored items. If anything, that makes the outfit all the more fun to wear!

I paired it with this ivory sweater, classic blue jeans, and my new favorite brown beanie (also from Primark, clearly I went a little crazy in that store) for the perfect everyday look, that actually kept me warm in the freezing temperatures in NYC that day.

I’ve rounded out a few other statement coats that I’m loving at the moment below. They’re such fun pieces to have in your closet, that it makes venturing out in the cold all the more fun to dress for.
