Dress: Reformation (old, but I’ve linked other printed wrap dresses that I’m loving for the season here, here and here), Earrings: Vintage, Shoes: Tibi (old, similar here & here)
A few weekends ago Nick and I took advantage of my new summer Friday schedule and headed to my parents house for the weekend to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Although it’s only a 3 hour bus ride, it feels like a world away; one with trees, flowers and unfortunately, allergies! But, we still had a great time playing pool with my parents, watching movies and of course, eating our weight in homemade food.
When we arrived on Friday afternoon, I slipped into this Reformation dress and we headed up to the Pagoda to take some photos, because this style is just too perfect not to share, right?
As you can tell, this dress is easily one of my favorites, although the polka dot print is definitely unexpected for me, I’ve always learned to try the unexpected because you never know when it may work out in your favor! Most of all though, I love the ease of the wrap style; it’s the perfect option for the summer season and one that I plan on adding more styles of to my summer wardrobe.
Now, I’m just waiting for the perfect occasion so that I can show off this beauty again!
P.s. had to give you a taste of my “yes, we nailed this shoot and now it’s time for a cocktail” look, which you can clearly see in my last photo 🙂
