I wish summer could last forever. Although the heat is sometimes completely unbearable, there’s really nothing like summer in New York City and it’s nights like the one in these pictures that makes every summer completely unforgettable.
I found this dress on the Lulu’s website and couldn’t resist the print. It’s so cheerful and fun and is pretty much the epitome of summer. Although it has a very beachy vibe, I decided to wear it for a night out at the 79th Street Boat Basin. If you’re visiting or living in NYC for the summer, this spot is a must if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city for a few hours. It’s located right on the water on the west side and is all completely outdoors, with tables, food and a bar with all of the best summer beers (my favorite is the Montauk Summer Ale). My friends and I have the best time finding gems like these to hang out at all summer long and this dress couldn’t have been more perfect for the venue.
