While my family doesn’t typically dress up for Christmas, or any other event during the holidays, I still couldn’t help but think that this is the perfect red dress for any holiday occasion. Plus, it was on major sale on Cyber Monday so I just couldn’t resist.
The laces up the front add a bit of an edge to what would be your typical holiday dress, and can be tied a bit tighter to add more coverage for those holiday family events. I also love that it’s perfect for any season. It can easily be worn with open or closed toed black heels for a fall or winter event, and paired with a heeled sandal and a jean jacket for a more casual spring or summer look. Also, add a red or berry lip and an orchid/dark pink eye shadow, like I did for these photos, to make the look more evening appropriate.
So, while I don’t plan on wearing this dress for any upcoming Christmas parties, I’m definitely planning to bring it on an upcoming trip to Florida, where I will pair it with sandals and a jean jacket for a more relaxed feel. P.S. these photos were taken at the Lotte New York Palace, which I highly recommend visiting during Christmas time. The entrance is beautifully decorated with lights, and tall Christmas trees, which makes it the best place for photos.
