I’ve debated for the longest time whether or not I want to share my personal thoughts with others. Sure, I share my travel and restaurant recommendations on a daily basis but every time I considered digging a little deeper, I thought who could possibly care about the internal issues and challenges that I deal with from day to day?
The more I thought about it the more I realized that it’s very possible that no one would care. But, I quickly came to the realization that writing things down not only gives me joy, but is also somewhat therapeutic; I feel a sense of release putting things down on paper. And whether or not someone wants to read about my recent battle with anxiety, or my outlook on the struggle to maintain friendships after college, doesn’t matter to me because I’m finally comfortable sharing it.
Though it’s possible that I may lose readers with this new addition to the blog, there’s also the possibility that I may be able to help someone who is going through something similar or even just help myself by getting my thoughts down on paper, and that’s alright with me.
So, this post was my long winded way of saying that I’m going to be incorporating more lifestyle content on the blog, and I hope you all stick around to check it out.2
