Although my days in the classroom are long gone, I still remember my early high school days toting around my color block Jansport backpack that was all the rage at the time, then slowly growing out of that and moving on to my trusty old North Face backpack for high school. When college rolled around, backpacks weren’t “in” anymore, so I opted for a classic tote to carry around all of my school supplies.

Now that backpacks are back in action, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one (or 5, let’s be serious). Though I don’t use it tote around my laptop or books for class anymore, this Vera Bradley leather backpack has become a go-to option for my day-to-day and weekend activities. Not only is it just about the cutest thing you’ve ever seen, but it also holds anything and everything that you may need for a day at the park, exploring new parts of the city or heading upstate for the day.

I don’t know what it is but I still get excited around back to school season – maybe it’s the changing of the weather (most years), or the thought of a new beginning, but I can’t help but feel anticipation for what’s to come (like all of the fall clothes making their way right into my closet).

p.s. Vera Bradley wants you to tell them why you think #itsgoodtobeagirl

This is one of the prettiest backpacks I have seen so far! I love the color and the leather looks buttery soft! It’s perfect! Also, I love your neutral look!
